Mission failed but I'm happy!

Time now is 0551 hrs 230505, I just got home from my night cycling expedition. Hmm, not really a expedtion, just a little trip to East Coast Park and back home. Set off at 0030 hrs, leisurely cycled to ECP with 3 of my other friends. Took about 2hrs, so got there at about 0230hrs. Rest, ate Mac, looked around and we headed for home at 0345hrs. This time round, we decided to take on a time trail, and see how much time is needed to get home from ECP, we are all staying in Jurong West FYI. The last record time we set was more than 2yrs back when I was still in JC, which reads 55mins. 2yrs apart, we wanted to see how much we had lag behind. Going on a reasonably fast speed, I reached Gleneagles Hospital at the 30min mark. I maintained my pace through Holland Village to Bouna Vista and arrived at the old Police dog Unit at the 45min mark. From then, I was demoralised as there is no way to get back to my destination in 10mins from where I was. Slowed down tremendously from then on. In the end, none of us 4 managed to break or maintain the record of 55mins. 1st guy reached Shell Boon Lay(our link-up pt) in 1hr8mins, I came in 2nd at 1hr12min and the last guy showed up at 1hr18min. All our stamina and endurance had dropped since then therfore all of us failed our mission of breaking the old record. Nevertheless, It was a very good workout for all of us. We need more trainings!
Went to Pulau Ubin on Saturday morning. Brought along our bicycles with the intention to wack the terrain over there and also appreciate the nature, as if I had not had enough of it during my 2yrs in the army. Maybe I did not learn to appreciate nature back then when we were thrown into the jungle for 3days. I mean who would? So now, I am learning it the expensive way! Going to Ubin on the bumboat cost $2/pax and an extra $2 for a bike. So thats a total of $8 to and fro. Quite enjoyable there other than the part which i fell. I was doing some stupid stuns when i fail to do a proper landing resulting in my bike "Endo" and I landed up with bruises all over. Luckily I knocked into a big blue barrel and fell, if not I would have landed up in the river. It was that close! But all and all, it was fun over there, definitely good for amateur bikers, I still prefer the Bukit Timah Trail.
Now I am so tired, I am going to sleep le. Happy Vesak Day one and all. Another thing is, I've changed my email add because I cancelled my pacific internet acct and subscribe for maxonline. For those who had not been updated, my new email add is autumn_0109@yahoo.com.sg , and my MSN is boiboi_0109@hotmail.com. Thats all folks!
