The purpose to our existence

Have you ever thought of the purpose to your existence? I think the purpose to our existence is to seek happiness. No matter what we do, what we say, our brain will only react to achieve 2 things, 1. To evade sufferings, 2. To seek happiness. What I mean by evading sufferings? To get away from any unhappiness or displeasure. Let's say you just failed your exams, how would you react to this news? You would probably want to get over it, forget about it, some do it by engaging in different activities, regardless of the activity you engage in, the sole purpose is to put you out of this misery, so that you can move on in life. And our body is reacting in such a way to get out of misery, at the same time, we are seeking happiness. Why do we want to achieve so many things in life? Why do we hope for so many pleasant things to happen in our life? The bottom line is when we achieved what we want, when our hopes come true, we will be happy. You may think that what I am writing here is a naive and shallow way of thinking but I think this is the basic fundamental to our existence, to be happy. What more purpose do you have in life, if one that you are leading is an unhappy one? Kaijun will tell me it is wisdom that is important. Wisdom is no doubt an important factor, a factor that the brain seeks to attain happiness. When you are happy, you find meaning in the things you do, and when you find meaning in the things you do, you will be happier and thus the purpose to our existence is to seek happiness.
