Self Improvement

Have not been updating for days, been busy nowadays with upgrading myself, trying to learn more things with my excessive time anyway. Been listening to movtivational talks by CHEN AN ZHI, for those who don't know him, he is a reknown speaker in Asia, he is Anthony Robbin's Asia Representative and student.
Pt 1: To succeed, one must believe that the past does not represent the future, when you fail your exams 10 times in a row, what does it signifies? NOTHING! yes! It signifies nothing about your future because the past does not represent the future, failing now and before does not mean that one would not succeed in future.
Pt 2: To succeed, one must believe that whatever that you cannot attain now, in the near future, you are bound to get something better.
Pt 3: One must always believe that there is nothing such as "FAILURE", only "TEMPORARILY STOP SUCCEEDING".
Pt 4: In order to succeed, one must DO THINGS THAT OTHERS DO NOT WANT TO DO, DO THINGS THAT OTHERS ARE AFRAID TO DO and DO THING THAT OTHERS HAD NEVER DONE BEFORE. Before Anthony Robbin became successful, he was a toliet washer.
Hmm..There are more things I've learnt but the above are the few more pertinent points. I am also reading this book titled " Rich Dad's The Business School-For people who like helping people. The author is Robert T.Kiyosaki also written by him was "Rich Dad Poor Dad". The book I am currently reading is about networking marketing, the author gives us a inview of network marketing, and the reasons why he support network marketing. It also gives us an insight of whether we are suitable for this marketing style. There is a story in the book which I felt interesting and truly agree and it goes:
Henry Ford, founder of The Ford Motor Company, he was not a well educated man and like Thomas Edison(Lightbulb inventor and founder of General Electric), was often ridiculed by the so-called intellectual society because of his lack of formal education. Once, Henry Ford was asked to summit to a test by so-called smart people from the world of academics. On the appointed day, a group of smart people came in to give him an oral test. They wanted to prove he was ignorant. The test began by one scholar asking him a Qn such as what is the tensile strength of the rolled steel he used? Ford, not knowing the answer, simply reach for the phone on his desk and called in his Vice president who knew the answer. The VP came in, Ford asked him the Qn, the VP gave the ans the panel wanted. The next smart person asked another Qn and again Ford called in another staff to answer the Qn. This process went on untill finally one of the smart persons on the panel shouted,"See, this proves you are ignorant! You don't know the ans to any of the Qn we asked you." Henry Ford reportedly replied, "I DON'T KNOW THE ANSWERS BECAUSE I DO NOT NEED TO CLUTTER MY HEAD WITH THE ANSWERS YOU SEEK. I HIRE SMART YOUNG PEOPLE FROM YOUR SCHOOLS WHO HAVE MEMORIZED THE ANSWERS YOU EXPECT ME TO HAVE MEMORIZED. MY JOB IS NOT TO MEMORIZE INFOMATION THAT YOU THINK IS INTELLIGENCE. MY JOB IS TO KEEP MY HEAD CLEAR OF SUCH CLUTTER AND TRIVAL FACTS SO THAT I CAN THINK." At that pt, he asked the smart people from the world of academics to leave.
End of Story. Quoting from Henry Ford, " Thinking is the hardest work there is. That is why so few people engage in it" . i really think what he said is damn true! Screw you damn scholars! I recall my JC principal Mr Quek, I remember he always like to say make sure you guys get a gd testimonial, a testimonial is so very important so that when your prospective employer look at testimonial, you would stand a higher chance of securing a job, blar blar blar...and I would always think, I do not need a testimonial because I would be the one reading peoples' testimonial. I WILL BE!
"The richest people in the world build networks. Everyone else is trained to look for work"
