Been a week

Hello everybody! I'm back in action. Been missing this for a week. Sorry to disappoint all those FANS of my blog out there. I understand the unfulfilled feeling every time you click on my link expecting a new entry but found none. lolz. After a week, my skin is still as thick, if not thicker. Alright, last week was quite an eventful week. Ever since the day I collected my Pink IC, i stepped into a whole new world with a new if not better set of ideologies. Let me recap what I did in this first week as a full fledged Civilian.
2nd June 2005, my 2nd day as a Civilian, Andrew, my dear friend back from Aussie after his studies, is ENLISTING on the 10th June, 2 days to go my friend, enjoy this very 2 days with your pink IC because you would not be seeing it for 2 years. 2 days and 2 years, what an irony! Anyway, I accompanied him to Goldenmile market commonly known as "The Army Market", to get stuffs needed for enlistment. Seeing him brought me to think of myself 2 years ago, with resemblance, at the same market, at the same stall (cuz intro him to the stall i frequent), doing the same thing, but then I was a lost bird, and now I was there to guide him. Bought all the stuff he needed, we headed for the PC show at EXPO. It was crowded. I intend to buy a desktop as the current one I'm using is passing on anytime soon, especially so for my monitor. Andrew is also getting a new one, so we walked around, collected most of the phamlets for best deals from most companies and left. Homework needs to be done before you purchased something that cost a thousand bucks. After which, I went to Suntec to meet up with Chongliang and Zijun. We went to print namecards for ourselves, the 1st step enroute success! Way To Go! I'm sure I can!
5th June 2005, my 1st Sunday as a Civilian, not having to worry about BOOK-IN timing on Sun night. After doing some homework and consulting an IT expert Mr Ang BengHwei, hahaz, I've decided on a set that suits my budget and is reasonably good. I aint no hardcore gamer, aint no hardcore graphic designer, aint no programmer, so all I need is a moderately good PC to support me to check my emails, surf the net, do some school projectwork. So this time round, I went down to Expo with Chongliang and Zijun. They are getting SD cards and bluetooth headset. So I ordered my Compaq presario SR1420AP which cost S$1299, with a free HP printer. I also bought a Logitech cordless desktop set LX300 costing $79. Therefore, I'm broke! To be broke is a temporary phenomenon, one would get out of it pretty fast if he work hard enough. Never say you are poor, because when you say you poor, you will never ever be rich. Because you fall into the vicious cycle of the poor gettting poorer. Chongliang bought a bluetooth headset, a 1GB SD card and a Bluetooth GPS receiver with a Malaysia's map downloaded. Zijun bought the same 1GB SD card. Afterwhich, they headed off to hougang and my gf and me head for home. Wanted to test out my new keyboard and mouse 1st thing I got home, but to my great disappointment, it requires a PS/2 port. My current computer is so old that it does not even have a PS/2 port. So i can only wait till my new Desktop arrives in 7-14days in order to test it out. Can't wait for its arrival!!
6th June 2005, Zijun's 22nd birthday. Happy birthday man! Hope you will attain all your dreams. Maybe we can reach there together! I will! Went to Galvin's home to learn about this water filtration system I'm into. Getting my ass to work if not my dream will never happen! To succeed, you need high volume of actions! After that at about 2100hrs went to Kbox Jurong East to celebrate Zijun's birthday. Zijun, Galvin, Chongliang, Me, my gf, ah ben, Jolin and CHICKEN were all there. hahaz, its the usual gang! Shall upload some of the exciting photos into my photos album. Check it out when you have the time. See how Jolin is being "tortured" once again by us! lolz! This time round I got it too! We sang till 3am. All 7 of us, squeezed into Chongliang's car, miracle, hahaz, its not a MPV, its a 5 seater SUZUKI SWIFT 1.5, for your infomation! So there he sent us home one by one. Alot of damaged done to the car.hahaz. Overloaded and overworked. Reached home at about 4am, tired. I will start work on the 15th June 2005. 15th June is a very IMPORTANT DATE! Its my QUIT SMOKING DAY! I gotta QUIT SMOKING BY THAT DAY which is drawing near, these weeks, I have already cut down by alot. Still working on it. I will Succeed! This day is also the day, I will start on my SALES BUSINESS! After my 1st step enroute success, this is the 1st day and also 1 day nearer to being successful! Saying is motivational, SEEING is BELIEVING! So peepz, JUST WAIT AND SEE!
7th June 2005, ChongLiang and me went to Kaixiang's chalet in the evening. BBQ with his classmates. Fun Luving peepz. Had lotsa fun! Stayed over there for the night, then came back home only this morning.
These coming few days, I'm going to recuperate from all the damage done the past week. These few days is also for me to do any last minute preparations for the upcoming NPCC NCO CAMP 2005 from 11th to 13th June. I will be attending this camp this coming weekend as an Instructor, playing an advisory role to the camp. I would also need to prepare myself for the upcoming challenge in doing sales. My staff aids and business strategies will be out! Peepz please remember, 15th june 2005. If i don't get my ass moving that day, I will be a failure for life! To succeed, great volume of Actions is needed.
Hopefully, I can blog more often, because looking at the length of this entry is the result of failing to blog for a week. BUT having the time to blog too often is not a good sign! I should be busy instead of idling at home, looking into the computer to blog. Okie! Time to get busy! Wei Wen, You Can Do It! laterz!
