Not yet rusty...

It has been half a year since I last stepped onto the sales floor to do sales. I thought I would be rusty, I thought I would lose all the sales techniques I once mastered. Apparently I did not. It all came out naturally, as if I had memorized the steps by hard every single day without fail. Admittedly, when I started my day at Habourfront BIG, I was kind of "lost for words" but after a while it all came back.

Got a call up from my boss to get my ass to sell TVs once again when I woke up this morning. As some might had seen in the papers, BIG is having their warehouse sales which ends today. I was supposed to watch a play by Hall 15, but weighing the opportunity costs, I decided to skip the play and went to work. It as all worth well. In 8hrs, I sold 5set of 32" LCD TV and 1 set of 42" Plasma TV, earning a total of $200 in a day!!!!! Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeew!!! Thats like 25bucks/hr? Where on earth do you get such good money other than battling on the sales floor with the other competing brands' promoter. This is where I gain the utmost satisfaction in this job.

But again, I got to apologize for not being able to make it to the production. My apologies.

Next weekend, there will be another promotion, I shall be down to work again!! Who can resist such good money just by talking my way through to convince people. Too bad I am not smart enough to be a attorney. lolx..

I was so shagged when I returned from work. It has been so long since I stand 8hrs a day. Aching all over. Proceed on with my Bio psych term paper. Completed it at 3am, just while ago. Tedious job! Biology is not my forte, not anywhere near, at all. 1 paper down, 1 more to go. Shall start working on my philo paper tmr. Philosophy, a more tedious job, Im in no way philosophical. Im still trying to figure out what is justice and virtue. Neither had I got an answer to whether a chair is indeed a chair philosophically. Well...I'll probably to more philosophical in my next few posts amidst doing up my term paper. lolx..

To begin, lets consider what I see as a lousy argument put forth by Socrates in "Meno",
If Virtue is knowledge, then it can be taught, but there is no one that can teach Virtue, thus it is not knowledge and therefore it cannot be taught. Virtue then is a gift from the gods.
Socrates oh Socrates...What the hell are you talking about?
