Stale Weekend
IO Psyc Quiz on wed..spent my weekends studying for it. 6 long chapters of eye straining small teeeny weeeny little fonts of the textbooks. Makes reading time draggy and rate of comprehension even slower. Still bits of it left unaccomplished.
Stats 2 Quiz last Fri..fairly simple quiz, which I guess mean score would be quite high too. Lets hope Im above mean.
So what have I been up to recently? Nothing much really..I know I've tonnes of work piling up, readings and all. A few more quizzes in ambush as the semester proceeds. A few lab reports, term papers due sooner than I wish they are.
Not forgetting also my MIDI project for my Science GEM. Till now, I'm barely following the Prof during lectures, music in itself is an abstract subject matter, the abstraction of the theoritical constructs of music, lies on the other extreme of the continuum. In simplier terms, I don't really understand. A 3rd is the 5th harmonic, and a 5th is the 3rd harmonic, I wonder why Pythagoras likes to confuse himself like this...Ponders...Maybe too much of Trigonometric functions crapped up his brains too....Now I know why the norm is for ppl to clear their grade 8 Practical but their theory remains at grade 5 or 6..
Moral of the story: You don't need to know how a car works in order to drive a car.
Im going to Batam (Indonesia) during the mid sem break. My uncle and aunt-in-law are having their customary marriage dinner there. A simple one, only families invited. Just a day or two..The last time I went there was god knows when....Maybe I know too..but it lost its significance already.
Now I know how hard it is for Chinese Nationals to apply for entry visas into Singapore. Tried applying one for my Aunt-in-law, tedious process, lots of documentations, local sponsors, letter of introduction and all kinds of crap..Some dumbfucked I*A officers which I converse to on the phone made matters worse..End of it all, application was rejected. Screw it! They should really scrutinized on the entry visas they are giving away for Chinese nationals who engage in PROSTITUTION in Sg, and not legitimate self-employed applicants who is probably times richer than these dumbfuck officers who approves applications, whom just wishes to make a transit over at Sg to Indonesia. Well...to give it some credits, the system is good, its the people in the system that screw it up.
